How can you date a co-worker or ask a co-worker out without being sued? Is there a way I can find out if my co-worker likes me? I like a co-worker but I am not sure if it would be OK to ask her or him out. What should I do? Should I ask someone to talk to her or him for me? Wouldn't it be too forward? I don't want to get fired and don't want to risk my job, but I really like my co-worker.
If that's the case, you can find out indirectly whether your co-worker likes you or not. If the person you want to date is single, you can ask her if she would agree to go out to lunch with you. First place to start looking would be a phone book. If you know your co-worker's first and last name, look him or her up in the phone directory. The telephone number that you will find will list the names on the phone. If the person is single, there will only be one name corresponding to the particular telephone number in the directory. By the same token, if he or she is married or is living with a girlfriend or a boyfriend, you will quickly find out. But if everything looks good, proceed with caution.
